Until the launch of the Suzuki GSXR 1000, Suzuki’s challenge to the likes of the FireBlade and R1 came from their manic Suzuki GSX-R 750. Brilliant handling and track-orientated, it nevertheless lost out on displacement and needed a good rider screwing it to the max to keep up with the bigger bikes. Not any more.
